The Fine Print
- Annual fee of $95 is waived the first year
- If you’ve ever received the sign up bonus on the personal card, you cannot receive it again.
- Card earns at the following rates:
- 2x miles on all purchases made directly with Delta
- 1x miles on all other purchases
- No foreign transaction fees
- Offer valid until November 17th, 2015
Our Verdict
It’s important to remember that you can only get the bonus on each American Express personal card once per lifetime, AmEx has offered 60k miles + $50 after $1,000 in purchases recently and frequently offers 50k miles + $50 after only $1,000 in spend.
Obviously both of these offers are better, so I’d recommend passing on this offer unless you have a short term need for Delta miles. Purchasing a Delta gift card should trigger the $50 statement credit as well, but there is no guarantee that will work.
