Original post: American Express has announced the sign up bonus on the new Hilton cards. They are as follows:
- Hilton Honors American Express Card (no annual fee card): 50,000 points after $1,000 in spend within the first three months
- Hilton Honors American Express Ascend Card: Up to 100,000 points, broken down as follows:
- 75,000 points after $2,000 in spend within the first three months
- An additional 25,000 points after you spend an additional $1,000 within the first six months
- Hilton Honors American Express Business Card: Up to 100,000 points, broken down as follows:
- 75,000 points after $3,000 in spend within the first three months
- An additional 25,000 points after you spend an additional $1,000 within the first six months
- Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card: 100,000 points after $4,000 in spend within the first three months. This also comes with a free weekend night certificate your first year and on card anniversary.
I think the sign up bonus on the Aspire is weak, I was expecting a free night offer of at least two nights if not three. The fact it has effectively a worse sign up bonus than the Ascend and business card is surprising, although the benefits are significant but you’d also expect that with the $450 annual fee.
