Our Verdict

Previous best bonuses were 100,000 points or 75,000 points + $100 statement credit, but those offers only required $1,000 in spend. This is the biggest offer we’ve seen on this card, but it does require an extra $4,000 in spend. For some people that will be worth it, for others they will prefer the old lower spend offer. Still a good deal if you have a use for Hilton points in the short to medium term, if you don’t I’d hold off on this offer as it will likely to continue to increase as Hilton continues devalues points. Will add this bonus to the best credit card bonuses. Before applying read these things everybody should know about American Express cards.

Hasn’t this 130k/150k offer been around for a while now?

$75k + $100 statement credit was better unless you’re churning and burning

Earn Up to 150,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points

Earn 100,000 Bonus Points after you spend $1,000 in purchases on the Hilton Honors American Express® Card in the first 3 months of Card Membership.†

Plus, you can earn an additional 50,000 Bonus Points after you spend a total of $5,000 in purchases on the Card in the first 6 months. †

Not worth spending the additional $5000 for the no AF card, but might be worth it on the AF card specially if you’re going to spend to get the NOT-free night certificate anyway.

Also, even though they’ve already devalued, these increased offers lead me to think further devaluation is immininent by end of the year or early next year.

I’m debating whether to get this or delta gold with 700k + 400 sc. I do want to get both but I don’t want to end up in the Amex popup jail lol

I have this card, got it with the 100k offer, but for a no fee card the amount of decent AXP offers that pop up with this card make getting it worth it. Hilton though is an inferior program to Hyatt, but for a no fee card it’s probably good for someone not really into point churning but still would like some AXP offer benefits.

With Hilton, you should look at high end resorts that are 95k points per night and book 5 nights with 5th night free (you need Gold status for this). E.g. Grand Wailea on Maui for 380k points for 5 nights, while nights go for at least $600+taxes. I’m sitting on a reservation I made earlier for 380k points that costs $6500 with taxes. That’s an extreme but it shows you can get solid value out of Hilton points.

I’ve only had cash back cards and am looking at the recent Hilton Honor card 150k offer. Are you sure it’s not 380k points for **1** night? 🧐 I looked through the calendar for the next year and the cheapest is during the summer time, it is shown as “368k per night for 4 night”.
