Our Verdict
Here’s a list of previous AeroMexico transfer bonuses:
- January 14th – February 14th, 2019: 25%
- November 1st – November 30th, 2018: 25%
- February 2nd – March 6th, 2015: 20%
- June 18th – 30th, 2004: 25%
As you can see there was a similar 25% transfer bonus at the same time last year. A full list of other previous and current transfer bonuses can be found here. I’m not that familiar with the AeroMexico program but if anybody else is then please share your experiences in the comments below.
Hat tip to Frequent Miler
Thanks.
Besides the RTW ticket is there any other sweet spots for AeroMexico?

Have you ever googled “sweet spots AeroMexico”?
My apologies for not meeting your posting criteria, which made you cynically troll me. In the future I will do better master Fathiss
Nothing cynical here. “Teach a man to fish….”
You can now transfer with Citi as well, but it’s only 1:1 unfortunately.
I’ve been waiting nearly a year for this to come back again. The great benefit of this is a RTW ticket up to 16 cities for 176k MR in business class. Points Guy has a pretty decent breakdown. https://thepointsguy.com/guide/this-25-amex-transfer-bonus-can-get-you-round-the-world-awards-with-aeromexico/
How do you book this trip with AeroMexico. The main issue with award travel is finding availability and ease of booking
If you planned it out far enough and just had to go over itinerary with a rep, i would think it would be easy? I mean plan it out close to when the calendars are released.
That RTW ticket sounds pretty awesome. Guess i’m going to be saving for this now.
I’ve dreamt of doing this for a while but was told to skip AeroMExico because the high fuel surcharges levvied on a lot of their partner airlines. Have you done one yourself? Could you post your trip details somewhere?
