Our Verdict
I guess this is only showing up on SPG cards, but happy to be proven wrong. 30% is a significant discount. Not sure if you’re cap at $300 in spend, or $300 back (mean $1,000 in spend) pretty sure it’s the latter though. Don’t forget to stack this with other SPG promotions as well.

Well, this is interesting. Got a credit on SPG Biz card at end of July. Posted as GANN:0001 30% off on qualified spend.
Details put it at a SpringHill Suites. The only thing is, I did have two rooms for one night at the SpringHill Suites in the city noted on the statement, but I paid for the rooms with points.
I got a statement credit of just over $100, which would be about 30% of the cash rate for two rooms.
So I paid 10k points per room and got a $100 credit. Not sure how that worked out, but I’m a fan of the result. 😀
The T&C suggests that gift card purchases are excluded from there promo, but does anyone have any reason to expect that gift card purchases may actually be eligible.

Tried SPG Bus and SPG Personal via direct link and both come up with a screen that only contains “My Account” and “Card Benefits” buttons. Definitely YMMV on this promo.
