- Chase is offering some Chase Sapphire Preferred cardholders 75,000 points after $4,000 in spend by December 15, 2026 when they upgrade to the Chase Sapphire Reserve. Must upgrade by December 1.
Our Verdict
Careful as some people got an upgrade e-mail without the points attached. The offer itself is very attractive for people that wouldn’t otherwise be eligible for a Chase Sapphire Reserve:
- People that are over 5/24 and are unlikely to go under again
- People that already received a bonus on the Chase Sapphire Reserve and aren’t eligible due to lifetime language
