Over the past few days I’ve received a lot of e-mails and seen a lot of twitter messages speculating that an Avios devaluation is eminent. I thought I’d put together a post about why I think that’s not happening but then my friend from across the pond did an even better post which I thought was worth sharing. Initially I was just going to post it on Twitter/Facebook, but this way nobody can claim they missed it.
Even though HeadForPoints is a UK based blog, I think it’s worth reading even if you are American. I’ve found a lot of useful information out from that site and even some opportunities that I’ve been able to cash in on whenever I visit the UK. There has been a flurry of posts since with similar information, but I think HFP has the best overview of the whole situation (and pretty tables to boot).
