The Offer
- Heritage Community Credit Union is offering a bonus of up to $500 when you open a new checking account with promo code 5002026CK. Bonus is broken down as follows:
- Get $100 when you open a new HCCU checking account with at least $25
- Get $200 when you complete 40 qualifying debit card purchase transactions within 60 days of account opening
- Get $200 when you set up a direct deposit totaling at least $500 each month within 60 days of account opening
The Fine Print
- New Checking Account Bonus: Offer valid through September 30, 2026. Offer is unavailable to existing Heritage Community Credit Union (HCCU) checking account holders and members whose checking account was closed within the previous 90 days or closed with a negative balance. To receive the $100 bonus, open a new HCCU checking account using promo code 5002026CK, subject to approval, and fund the account with a minimum opening deposit of $25. The bonus will be deposited into the new checking account within 30 days of satisfying the account opening requirements.
- Debit Card Bonus: Earn an additional $200 when you complete 40 qualifying debit card purchase transactions within 60 days of account opening. ATM transactions, person-to-person payments, returned purchases, and other non-purchase transactions do not qualify. The bonus will be deposited into the checking account within 30 days after all qualifying requirements have been met.
- Direct Deposit Bonus: Earn an additional $200 when recurring direct deposits totaling at least $500 per month are received into the new checking account through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network within 60 days of account opening. Qualifying direct deposits include payroll, pension, Social Security, or other government benefits. Person-to-person payments such as Zelle®, transfers between accounts, and deposits made through payment apps do not qualify as direct deposits. The bonus will be deposited into the checking account within 30 days after the qualifying direct deposit requirement has been satisfied.
- To receive any bonus, the checking account must be open, active, and not restricted at the time of bonus payout. Bonuses may be reported to the IRS as interest, and the recipient is responsible for any applicable taxes. HCCU reserves the right to modify or discontinue this offer at any time without notice. Membership eligibility requirements apply.
