Our Verdict

You can get 30,000 miles + a $100 statement credit on the personal card. If you apply for multiple cards from Bank of America in the same day they will be combined into a single inquiry (business and personal can be mixed) so you should be able to apply for this and the personal card and get 60,000 miles + a $100 statement credit (you would need to pay $150 in annual fees though), you could also consider an app for the $200 cash rewards bonus as well.

I’m not a massive fan of the new card design for the business card, but who really cares? Before applying for this card or asking questions in the comments, I’d recommend you read about these 20 things everybody should know about Bank of America credit cards

Is there a statement credit with this offer? I see it in the post but not on the link.

wish that DOC still had the subscription available whereby all the replies & new posts auto pushed to our mailboxes; that way, it would have been much easier & quicker to be informative & coomunicative

Does anyone know if it is possible to get multiple business cards under the same business name (if applied at different times)? Are they churnable in the same way as personal cards?

Could you apply for a second Alaska Airlines Personal and this business to combine pulls? DoC do you have any data points about limiting the Alaska Personal applications to once every 90 days?

BoA business lending is the most lax I have ever experienced. They will let you close an existing Alaska Airlines business card, to open another Alaska Air business card. I have also been denied outright before, and I just said “Come on. Please?”, and was approved for another card.

AF coming due on my first 2 AS cards. Interested in this new 1 every 90 dats thing. Any word? I’m thinking AS may be our next program to stock up on, so many great awards.

Anyone know if BofA will match this offer to an existing Alaska Business card I have? Thanks.

Just to make absolutely sure, applying for this business card won’t show up as an inquiry on my credit report, right? I’m trying to get down below 5/24 by the New Year.

It will show up as an inquiry on your personal report but will not show as a new account opened.

But the 5/24 is about new accounts, not inquiries?

Just got approved for AS Biz with a CL of $3.5k. Does this mean I have the Platinum Plus Visa or Preferred Visa card? I asked the CSR, but she didn’t know. She said my sign up bonus was still 30k miles.

I’m no expert, but I don’t think AS has a lesser business card which you get for <5K. At least, I don't see anything about it in the T&C (unlike with their personal cards).

Question: can the companion fare be used everytime I take a flight on Alaska Airlines, or is it only usable once a year?

Two questions:

1. Is BofA’s limit one card (Personal OR Business) in 90 days? Or can I apply for both (Personal AND business) in a single 90-day period?

I was approved for the Personal card several weeks ago. Wondering if I can (or should) wait until after 90 days to apply for the Business card.

2. If I choose to apply for a second Personal card after 90 days, do I have to close the first Personal card before applying? Or will I receive the second sign-up bonus even if the first card is still open?

Thank you kindly in advance.
