Our Verdict
Recently the same offer was available, but the annual fee was waived the first year. Personally I’d just wait for that offer to return and because of that we won’t be adding this to our best credit card bonus page.

I wouldn’t sign up for this. A few weeks ago, I received an email from Barclaycard asking for opinions on changes to the card and its benefits. There were different variations of the cards, ranging from $95 to $199 for annual fees. Many questions on the survey discussed higher bonus points ranging from 70k-100k points along with companion fares for $99, in-flight credits, and many more. I would wait and see if some of those cards get released.
