Our Verdict
Today, February 4, is the final day of the 10x Ultimate Rewards bonus when using Chase Pay and can make a nice stack with these deals (while everyone else is busy watching the Super Bowl 🙂 ). Either way, some of these deal could be useful the entire week, especially to use up your Best Buy Rewards.

Take a look at the products list, it has to be the ones of those, and even if they didn’t have to be the same, they’d give you 20% off the smaller one, obviously….
Is this online only? I went to BB this morning and there was no mention of any gift card deal but maybe I missed it. If it’s online only, it doesn’t stack with the 10% CP

Is there any limit on the amount?
Tried to get two Macy’s cards of the same amount (variable up to $200), but discount wouldn’t ring up. Manager went into the backroom and never came back, supposedly while he was looking for the card with the right SKU numbers. Line starting backing up and assistant manager asked the cashier to put my transaction on hold and to help the “gentleman” behind me. I walked away and told them to cancel the transaction. They were shocked and in disbelief. They lost a $400 sale and I took my business elsewhere. Too much competition out there to allow poor customer service IMO.
If you look at the promo (link above) carefully, you will see that only certain denominations are included. Kohl’s, for instance, is only the $25, and putting $25 on a variable load does not work. (i tried)
Anyone know if best buy will max out the 20% offer cards?
Can you use a BB gift card to get these? I maxed out the 10x on BB gift cards.
I used some of my BB gift cards to buy ebay gift cards just yesterday. No issues whatsoever.
Oh interesting, I didn’t know you could use BB GC to buy GCs. TIL.
My local BB didn’t have any Visa gift cards, so I went for Shell. 10x UR from Chase + 1% from E*Bates + whatever BB rewards I might get was the best deal for me considering gas GCs are pretty much never a part of a promotion. Gift cards in this deal can often be found at better discounts than what’s offered at BB, so I’d suggest meeting the spend with more valuable GCs.
Damm, I missed the Ebates thing. Wonder if I can add my card now and if today’s purchases would count.
Remember Shopkick also. They were giving 15 points per $1 yesterday.
Don’t forget 1% from IBotta, though terms said not valid for GC purchase.
Bummer, I already spent $300 on the 10x promo. I guess these could still count 5x against the mobile pay category in Q1 right?
