Bilt Cash Can Now Finally Be Redeemed For BLADE Helicopter Rides

When Bilt first unveiled Bilt cash redemption options one of the advertised options was redeeming for BLADE helicopter rides. Unfortunately up until now that hasn’t been possible. Bilt has finally announced a partnership with BLADE and that includes Bilt cash redemptions.

Bilt Cash toward BLADE: Bilt Members can now redeem Bilt Cash toward BLADE bookings: up to $350 per seat, for up to 2 flights per calendar year (total value up to $700/year). At checkout, your available Bilt Cash credit will appear automatically as a payment option. Bilt Cash can be combined with Bilt Points and any linked card at checkout.

They also say that:

  • Credits reset every January 1; not replenished upon use in same calendar year

  • Each credit applies to one seat booking; if your seat costs less than $350, remaining credit cannot be carried over

  • Bilt Cash applies to seat bookings only, not incidentals like luggage

The credit also only covers basic fares (and not Flex or Max). Although in practice that seems to not be enforced. I found the “if your seat costs less than $350, remaining credit cannot be carried over” to be confusing but Bilt provided the following clarification:

  • Bilt members will pay whatever the revenue cost per Bilt flight is with Bilt cash up to $350 per seat, i.e a $250 Bilt airport flight will cost a Bilt members $250 in Bilt Cash
  • Bilt members can book two seats per year with Bilt Cash
  • If a Bilt member books one seat for $225 in Bilt cash and a second for $300 in Bilt Cash, they do not have $175 ($700-$225-$300=$175) to book a third seat
