Our Verdict

I like the concept of these sample boxes: try new things and hopefully you like at least one of them and then use the credit on that. Not sure I love the execution as you still need to make sure Amazon is price competitive after you’ve tried the sample box to really get any sort of value out of the credit. Maybe I’m over thinking it. As always make sure you stack discounts on all your Amazon purchases to save money, if you haven’t already read our complete guide here.

FYI: “Offer limited to one per customer and account per participating Sample Box”

This T&C is actually very true and is a LIFETIME limitation based on my experience. Meaning, its not per promotion period. If you got it years ago, you wont get the credit again. Maybe its YMMV or maybe im just stupid but I have purchased many of these sample boxes repeatedly due to the nice discount of “goodies” but I only received the credit ONE time. But its still worth it to me.

I ordered the refresh drinks & beverage sample boxes. Last time I ordered the Olympia box and everything was decent except for the cinnamon swirl protein powder.

I sincerely believe Amazon will crash hard, and soon. Their business model is completely unsustainable.

Care to elaborate? They are +$3.4B in cash last year with about $26B in cash reserves. Seems pretty sustainable to me.

People said that 20 years ago, 10 years ago, and apparently they’re still saying it

I guess “soon” is a term of art now.

This is a good article

But I doubt they’ll crash. Stumble, but never crash. And after the stumble, there won’t be much to stop them from keeping going.
