Capital One To Issue New MLB Credit Cards

Yesterday we reported that Bank of America was no longer servicing the Major League Baseball (MLB) credit cards and would be converting those to standard Bank of America credit cards. Sports Business Journal is now reporting that Capital One has won the banking rights for MLB and will issue new MLB credit cards. The deal is expected to be announced after a new collective bargaining agreement has been completed.

I used to love these years ago before I started collecting airline/hotel points. But now my favorite team logo on my cc isn’t really worth it unless it can get me lots of airline/hotel points.

I can imagine MLB card will be structured like SavorOne card, which is not bad!

COF is getting aggressive with these co-brand deals. First, Williams-Sonoma, then BJ’s, now MLB.

A lockout, which means the owners initiated it. Same thing for the fans.

Instead of 3 strikes and you’re out it can be 3 HPs and you’re declined.

So annoying when I’m ruled safe, then it goes to review and they reverse the call.

So true, won’t run credit once. You get 3 runs, then still can’t win with high score and no errors, and credit lines are peanuts. But any guesses on MSR/SUB? I’m just looking for a ballpark figure.
