- Cathay Pacific is offering a 50% transfer bonus when you transfer hotel points (excluding SPG & Marriott)
The Fine Print
- The 50% bonus miles offer does not apply to Starwood Preferred Guest and Marriott Rewards® programmes. You will earn regular miles by converting your points from these hotel loyalty programmes
- The “Hotel Points Conversion Campaign from Participating Hotel Partners” (“Promotion”) is valid from 8 May 2018 (starting from 00:00 GMT+8) to 30 June 2018 (until 23:59 GMT+8), based on points conversion date (“activity date”), both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
- The Promotion is applicable to Marco Polo Club and Asia Miles members who haven’t converted points from any hotel partners’ loyalty programmes between 1 May 2017 and 7 May 2018 (“Eligible Members”), based on the activity date
Our Verdict
Keep in mind you’re not eligible if you have transferred any points between May 1st 2017 and May 7th 2018. I don’t think it really matters as they have excluded the only two transfer bonuses that are worth doing (Marriott is good when doing travel packages). All the other transfer ratios suck even with a 50% bonus.
