- Savings offer is not available to existing Chase savings customers, those with fiduciary accounts, or those whose accounts have been closed within 90 days or closed with a negative balance.

Avoiding Fees
There is a $5 monthly fee, this is waived if you do any of the following:
- Have a minium daily balance of at least $300
- Have at least one repeating automatic transfer from your personal Chase checking account
- Be under the age of 18
- When linked to a Chase Premier Plus Checking, Chase Premier Platinum or Chase Private Client Checking
Our Verdict
You’ll notice you can also get $200 for opening a checking account, but you don’t want to consider this as you can get $300 for opening the same account. That bonus also lets you get $200 for opening a savings account, but it requires a deposit of $15,000 instead of only $10,000 for this one.
Reader Jeff H has confirmed that you can open the total checking account for $300 and then this savings account for $150 at the same time by using the different coupons (keep in mind these bonuses all need to be opened in branch). They’ve also offered a $100 bonus that only required a $5,000 deposit.
The best Chase saving bonus for you probably depends on how much cash you have on hand and how much interest you’d be earning if it wasn’t in this account. Not really worth going into a Chase branch just for this, but combine it with the $300 checking bonus and also see if you’re pre-approved for any Chase credit cards to get around the Chase 5/24 rule.
Probably won’t add this to our list of the best savings account sign up bonuses.
