For years now, Chase has been unofficially giving 115 days from signup for the spend requirement on the signup bonus, despite the official ‘3 months’ verbiage. When asked via Secure Message about how long you had, they consistently replied with with 115 timeframe.
Multiple Reddit reports (here and here) indicate that Chase reps are now replying with the official 3-month timeframe as the amount of time you have to meet the spend requirement, e.g. if you are approved on June 10th, they’ll say you have until September 10th.
Furthermore, the Chase online signup bonus tracker shows the 3 month timeframe as well. I’m unsure if it always showed that way there or if that’s a recent change (for context, that tracker has only been in existence for a few months).
It’s not clear if they changed the internal policy. At the least, they are now – at least publicly – shifting to the 3 month date as the official end date.
One data point in the comments indicates that they still, in practice, give longer than 90 days. Another data point confirms this as well. Another one. Another one for 2020. Another for 2023.

I noticed in the app it only gives me 90 days to complete the signup . After being approved the is a bar that tells you that you have x amount of days to complete spending for bonus and that is 90 days. But not sure if this tracker is accurate or not

04/17/23 (113 days later) – Finished MSR (wasn’t intentionally late, but my tracking for this card had been messed up)
04/20/23 – SUB showed as pending in UR portal
The last purchase posted for the spend on the Ink Cash last night 2/9 at day 103 and 90000 bonus points were awarded this morning. I had completely forgot and almost missed it for 30 bucks.

I am happy to update you or some of you in near future about my DP. It seems that still 115 days rule is being applied even if reps says I missed the deadline in secure message. I got sign-up bonus successfully after my statement date which is exactly 115 days since card opening. My card was Chase IHG 150,000 point after 3K MSR within 90 days after opening. Thanks @payyoutuesday for encouraging words!
Any new DP in 2021? I have missed 90 day requirement by 8 days and wonder Chase still honor this. I will update this later. I sent secure msg to CSP and CSP confirmed I missed official 90 days.
