Our Verdict
Think this is a fairly niche promotion as most people probably don’t have upcoming Choice hotel stays or need AeroMexico miles. Seems like this is actually a semi frequent bonus they offer, was 10k earlier this year and even 15k as well. That could make it much more interesting.

Works for point stays already booked?
Definitely should for paid stays already booked – terms don’t say anything otherwise. Just make sure you provide your Club Premier number at check in and be sure to set your Choice Privileges account to earn AeroMexico points before as well. However point stays most likely won’t work
It won’t work for a points stay at all, whether previously or newly booked. Per a Google translation of the T&Cs, it excludes “free rooms” by which they mean award stays:
The 10,000 Premier points bonus is only available to members with a valid stay.
The 10,000 Premier Points bonus is only available for a valid Choice Hotels stay. A “stay” includes all consecutive nights at the same hotel, regardless of check-in or check-out. A “valid stay” includes all stays except rooms booked below certain rates, free rooms, rooms paid for as part of a meeting convention, rooms booked through a third-party online retailer or travel agency, including online travel agencies, wholesale packages, group travel or stays booked with the discount from the employee or the discount friends, family and associates.
I’ve been a Choice Privileges member for a long time, and I’ve never earned anything on points stays.
