Citi has added Club Premier Aeromexico as a 1:1 transfer to the Citi ThankYou points reward program. The last time they added a transfer partner was back in 2017 with Avianca. Other ‘recent’ additions include  Turkish Airlines & Jet Airways. Most people won’t find Aeromexico a useful transfer partner due to high fuel surcharges and award pricing.
The current list of Citi ThankYou point transfer partners is as follows:
Emirates | EVA Air Infinity MileageLands | Malaysia Airlines Enrich |
AirFrance-KLM Flying Blue | Etihad Guest | Qatar Airways Privilege Club |
Asia Miles | Accor Hotels (1:0.5) | Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer |
Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus | Virgin Atlantic Flying Club | Qantas |
JetBlue (1:0.8 rate, 0.5 with Preferred) | Sears SYWRP (1:12) | Jet Airways JetPrivilege |
Turkish Airlines Miles & Smiles | Avianca LifeMiles | Club Premier Aeromexico |
Choice Hotels (1:2) | Leading Hotels of the World (5:1) |
Hilton is still a transfer partner??
I find good award prices on AM but I am out of LAX and there are several flights per day. The problem with AM is that Amex transfers actually take a whole week, in which time there’s a good chance the price will have changed. However! – once you find a flight you want, you can call them and they will hold the reservation at that price for a week for you, just enough time for the points to come through.
