Citi Hilton 75k offer

  • Card earns at the following rates:
  • Complimentary Hilton Silver Status as long as you’re a cardholder
  • Fast track to gold status (four stays within 90 days of account opening or when you make $20,000+ purchases in each calendar year)
  • Annual loyalty bonus of 10,000 Hilton HHonors bonus points at end of each calendar year in which you spend $1,000 or more on stays with the Hilton Portfolio
  • Standard Visa Signature Benefits
  • Hilton HHonors Bonus Points offer not available if you have had a Citi Hilton HHonors Visa Signature Card account that was opened or closed in the past 18 months

Our Verdict

They offered the same 75,000 bonus last year in July. American Express are also offering a 70,000 point bonus on their Hilton no annual fee card. Both offers are the best they have been, so if you’re in need of Hilton points then these are the cards for you. Before applying or thinking about applying I’d recommend reading about things you should know about Citi credit cards.

UPDATE – Submitted an online application on June 9. No answer so I called to check on status. They asked me to call back. I called again on June 15 and they told me that Citi is no longer accepting applications for the Hilton HHonors card because there relationship with Hilton is changing.

Can you open a second one of these if you already have an active one? Or do you need to pc first?

if it has been 18 months since you opened the last one, i don’t see why not. definitely no need to pc or close first.

Think the reward for the Citi Reserve card is a better deal. I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria in Chicago for two nights for free. $95/year though. but you get 10 points per dollar. And right now they are doing double points for Hilton stays. Just got back from San Francisco and got 38,000 points.

Thank you for this post. Do you know Citi policy on offer match if applied in last 30 days? I know that I really should know this one, but just don’t remember. Thank you.

Best,

PedroNY

Of course whenver hotels or airlines devalue their loyalty points, they should always adjust their card signup bonuses up to the “highest ever”. It’s just keeping up with inflation.
