PenFed has sent out a paper letter to Pathfinder cardholders informing them that the annual fee can no longer be waived effective September 28, 2026.
The following is a summary of the changes that are being made to your account terms effective September 28, 2026.
- The account will be charged an Annual Fee of $95. This fee is no longer eligible to be waived.
- Late Fee increase up to $30 for the first occurrence; Up to $35 for subsequent occurrences until you make 6 consecutive minimum monthly payments on or before your due date.
Previously PenFed Honors Advantage Members had the annual fee waived. A lot of people were taking advantage of the $100 airline credit that this card offers. PenFed does not offer any annual fee refund once the annual fee has posted, you must cancel the card before it posts.
