Hat tip to Christopher T.
Coinbase learning no longer shows on my account — any ideas why & if there’s a way to rectify that?
Y’all must be lucky daddy doesnt have this one.
Poor daddy!
It actually was $30 a week ago with $20 for signing up for the plan. I found a code that made the first month free so it was a free $20 for completing the offer + 1 month free.
Nice, I was wondering if there was a way to make this a MM.
Though it’s generally looked down on, people actually have this as a free phone plan and money maker by purchasing a $250 indoor hotspot. You earn $0.50/GB in MOBILE tokens for data transferred by Helium Mobile subscribers, up to the monthly plan price each month, and you can do that with your own Helium Mobile plan. On top of that (making it a MM), you earn MOBILE tokens each day depending on where the hotspot is deployed and assuming it passes speed tests (100 mbps down, 10 mbps up, <50 ms latency), and you can estimate your earnings at https://planner.hellohelium.com/ – you earn the most by deploying in high footfall, urban/dense areas.
Swagbucks has Helium offer
Could you please share the code? Or at least share where you found this code? Would be greatly appreciated!
Didn’t show up for me either.
Doesn’t show helium as an option on my Coinbase learning
Look for MOBILE
FWIW, and probably more off-topic than necessary 🙂
I’ve followed Helium and the related technologies for a few years now. I actually own a 5G cellular antenna that sits on top of my house which contributes to their network.
Anyway, I had an old iPhone laying around and connected it to the Helium network. It’s backed by T-Mobile.
By simply carrying it around, you can earn enough “Mobile” tokens per month to pay the small $20 fee and have a virtually free phone
I’ve been involved in Helium for years as well, both in their IoT network and now also with their 5G/Mobile network. I have one of the beta Helium Mobile $5/month plans. I have Wi-Fi hotspots ( https://hellohelium.com/hotspot ) similarly providing coverage for Helium Mobile subscribers, and potentially others in the future. The Helium 5G network for data offload is a pretty revolutionary concept, and Helium Mobile has just about 100,000 subscribers so far since their public launch in December 2023.
IoT is how I got started with them as well. I still have unopened miners/gateways.
I slacked on the $5 offer but I still easily map the daily hexes to make it free for a backup phone.
I have a Baicells outdoor 5G antenna.
Yep, Discovery Mapping is great, passively earning roughly 500 MOBILE per day just by traveling roughly 1 mile – and you can pay for the plan directly with the MOBILE you earn.
You have the 5G? But, but…COVID!
So, you first have to spend like 500 bucks for the cellular antenna?
Triple that plus…at a promo price. I have an outdoor one.
That would be the price for a CBRS gateway and radio, which also costs $15/month/radio for outdoor or $5/month/radio for indoor for the SAS fees. Because of HIP 113, which reduced CBRS rewards for a variety of reasons described in that HIP, it’s strongly recommended to get the much less expensive, much easier to setup, and more lucrative Wi-Fi hotspots instead.
