• Delta are having an award sale on more than 8,000 routes. Prices start at 5,500 miles one way + taxes & fees. The sale is for flights that are in domestic economy or domestic comfort+. Flights need to be booked by July 18th, 2016. For travel between August 23rd, 2016 and February 10th, 2017

The Fine Print

• Must book by July 18th, 2016
• Travel may begin on or after August 23, 2016 and all travel must be completed by February 10, 2017

Our Verdict

They have offered a similar sale before, this time there doesn’t seem to be many flights offered at the 5,500 miles rate (not that there was a lot last time either). Delta only provides a small sample of routes that are on sale on their promotional page. It’s difficult to know what is actually on sale, since Delta doesn’t actually provide an award chart anymore (you can kind of see what is at a discount by comparing the same flight to dates outside the promotional period). Honestly Delta could say every day is a sale and you’d have no real point of reference unless comparing it to other airlines.
