- Delta has added a number of new award flights on sale. All prices listed are round trip, plus taxes and fees
- Domestic from 10,000 miles. Purchase by October 18, 2018 for travel November 7, 2018 – March 7, 2019
- Shanghai/Beijing from 30,000 miles. Purchase by October 18, 2018 for travel October 19 – December 9, 2018
Our Verdict
Deals are now coming out on a weekly basis on the Wednesday/Thursday. Keep in mind the pricing often still shows after the deal expires, so last weeks deals might still be showing. In addition the travel dates aren’t really accurate a lot of the time you can get some dates either side of what the promotion actually says. Don’t forget Delta also has the Fly South For Less sale.
Do they ever do one way sales, in order to comply with the 144 hour free visa rules; ie 3rd country?
Is there a way to be notified when Delta announces their flash sales?
Not this round of the sale, but a few weeks I got domestic coach tickets in an expensive market for 10k round trip (a redemption value of over 2 cents per point, which is pretty good for SkyMiles IMO).
When will there be some deals to Seoul?! I’d book way ahead for a deal. 🙂
There’s some good deals here. LAS – PVG in the new Premium Select on the A350-900 for 50,000 Skymiles and $41 roundtrip is something that I think a lot of people would jump at.
Consider it is off peak seasons, it is better off to pay in cash when you choose to fly over to the eastern hemisphere.
Really depends. If you can snag a 30k LAX-PEK I’d have a hard time imagining you get much better value for your skypesos elsewhere. But sure, check cash prices first.
