Our Verdict

This is a separate offer from the 4% online Safeway offer by Dosh. I imagine the in-store offer is more user-friendly since most people shop for groceries in-store, and there might be some things sold in store which are not available online. Offer might be targeted or might roll out slowly.

Added an Amex card and made a purchase with that card at a participating Vons but nothing triggered. Normally I’d get a push-notification and pending transaction right away. Is this normal?

In my experience Dosh card linked offers at Safeway only work with Visa cards

In my experience it’s works with all card but the card has to be added 1 day before purchase (24 hours maybe) and some store branded as VONS but it was Pavilions before so the charge won’t recognized and no Dosh cashback.
