Our Verdict
Make sure to save the offer ASAP, as you usually can’t save it up until the deadline (e.g they’ll probably pull it on the 21st or earlier). You won’t earn fuel points on Visa gift card deals. Make sure to use a card that earns at a high rate on grocery store purchases or use Chase Freedom this quarter or any other card that’s running a bonus on grocery stores now. This will usually work on variable load purchases, but if you don’t want to risk it yourself wait for somebody else to confirm in the comments below.

I tried to buy a card today and the cashier said she had to get manager approval before scanning the card. Another cashier came over and took me to the customer service desk to make the purchase. The cashier at the customer service desk said I had to pay with cash. I declined.
I had the coupon saved on a couple logins and they are gone now.
I tried 6/20 at an Albertsons, and the $500.00 variable visa didnt trigger the $10.00 off. This is in SoCal

Great that this is back. I had not maxed out my CSR grocery purchases for the quarter and foolishly used my Freedom card for a $100+ grocery purchase the other day when I still had points to redeem against.
