[Dead] Easy $10 off $10 eBay Sitewide, Works on Gift Cards

There’s a Facebook offer that’s circulating whereby you watch a short video from eBay and get a $10 promo code which works on anything on eBay.

1) Login to Facebook on computer and go to this eBay advertisement (might not work on mobile)

2) Begin watching the video

3) Pause the video

4) You should see a pop-up (within the video) with a $10 promo code/card; and you’ll get an email with the promo code as well (to whichever email address you have on file with Facebook)

The promo code works even on third-party gift cards in my experience, but not on eBay gift cards. Requires a minimum purchase of $10.01 to use the $10 promo.

$10 credit expires either at 11:59 pm PT tonight July 17th or at 2:59 am PT on July 18th. This deal may not be available for long as it probably has a limited number of offers. Once you get the promo code, you’ll have the rest of the day to use it.

Thanks Doc — landed today’s Moto G5 Plus $119 phone deal. While it’s true that you can only apply one coupon to the deal (for $25 — and thus they didn’t “stack” on same transaction), you could separately buy a $15 ebay gift card for $5, then apply it to the phone deal. You can also apply ebay gift cards at check out (and I’d bought these from Staples at 10% off courtesy the Amex SPG biz offer….)

About the phone, had been waiting too long for Moto to release an “unlocked” version of the new E5 Play. Was mulling an older e4 or near $200 for a G6 play….. But by-passed that all to get this decent mid-range Moto for somewhere under $78. (sic) 🙂

I got a couple codes yesterday. I used them on some $20’s arby’s gift cards today from svmgiftcards* . Purchase price had to be over $10. One code per order. I thought it said the codes had to be redeemed by around Aug 2,

Even though my $15 eBay gift card order seemed to go through when I placed it several hours ago, I never received a confirmation email, and the order doesn’t show in my order history. So I reused the same code for an actual item and I immediately received a confirmation email and it shows in my order history. This leads me to believe that the code DOES NOT work for eBay gift cards.

Wow! Thanks Doc! A power adapter I needed to purchase only cost me 11 cents out of pocket. Only took a minute of my time to get the code from Facebook. Once again, money saved & time well spent reading the doc website.
Received code at 3:00 pm mountain time. Purchased item at 3:50 mountain time. No problems.

Thanks, I went with the $85 for $100 iTunes gift card on sale, also got to cash out $3 of ebay bucks that would expire soon. So $71ish for a $100 iTunes card, great deal to me. Sharing if others want an easy redemption idea.
