I’m not sure about your first question as I’ve never tried. Sears told me previously that you cannot turn an electronic gc into a physical gc.

“Sorry can’t move forward”

Been at this a while. I’m done. PDG has been a pain in the arse. I’m done.

I think I may be able to purchase more than 4 gc from PPDG today. But it really bothers since I am asked to enter the verification codes.

Managed to purchase the four $200 Sears e-gift cards using my Chase Ink Plus via Paypal after the now-typical multiple verification loop (two texts and a phone call this time).

The loop prevented me from grabbing an Ebay gift card yesterday though with the $20 off coupon. Oh well.

Now I’m having problems liquidating gift cards through SaveYa and ABC Gift Cards. One order of three Best Buy gift cards went through successfully via SaveYa and I received the check, but now when I try to place a second order of three Best Buy gift cards, the check-out page keeps telling me that I need to verify my email address and phone number (even though I’ve done this a handful of times already, and when I go to the verification page it says that my verification is successful). Anyone else having this issue? I’m floating a decent amount of cash right now between Best Buy, ExxonMobil, and Sears, and although none of these are at high risk to suddenly devalue, I’d prefer to liquidate them sooner than later.

Matt –

Not to alarm you, but that’s what happened to me on SaveYa right before they banned me. For no reason – after looking for answers for weeks and months they just cited a fraud algorithm. I hadn’t sold them any bad cards or anything, either.

Strange company.

Same here with that stupid verification loop. But I never sold to them, period, so idk.

Hi Paul,

No worries, I appreciate the data point. I’ve heard of these seemingly random bans (random in the sense that the person banned didn’t move nearly enough volume through the gift card site as others), and I agree that it’s strange.

I guess that’s why I stuck to buying gift cards that in a worst-case scenario, I’d probably be able to use or flip eventually. Still, it’s annoying. Especially given that the only company that has approved more than one gift card sale transaction from me, Cardpool, has rates much lower than ABC Gift Cards and SaveYa.

Doc –

Curious how you’re circumventing the new PayPal verification loop on PPDG where it eventually spits you on to a screen where you can’t select the Ink.

I was limited to one $200 Sears card. Was able to load up on SVM products with no issue.

I am getting a message: “You must use PayPal in order to apply a discount or gift card, use eBay Bucks, or add a donation.”

Can Kmart GCs be resold electronically as Sears?

Very frustrating checking out with paypal. I keep having to reverify my account to no end. I have had to call in two times now to clear the holds on my account. Paypal keeps locking my account because it is logging my IP address from Chicago even though I am in WI. Each time I call they say it will not happen again.

Why can’t I pay for it with CreditCard? It is only allowing me to pay with PayPal

I am getting a message: “You must use PayPal in order to apply a discount or gift card, use eBay Bucks, or add a donation.”
Once I go through the PayPal login and get to the final payment page, I have a choice either using my balance or sign up for PayPal CreditCard and use that card.
It does not give me a choice to to use any of the CreditCard that I have on my PayPal account.
