Got 2 $100 Olive Garden giftcards. Used AMEX Plat wondering if 10x will hit under SUB. $74 overall value if it does.
A manager had to override it for some reason. Either bc it was a CC or over a certain limit.
Anything $100 or over they have to. Had it happen each time I’ve gone to buy gift cards.
Note: The Family Fare near me in Nebraska does not accept credit cards on purchases of gift cards. Could be true at other locations too.

108th and L 84th and Giles. Have signs at 108rh but didn’t ask. 84th asked but just said it was debit.

There are locations in more states than MI. They seem concentrated in the Great Lakes and Upper Midwest.
says limit 2 but you have to ring up each gc separate otherwise you only get 1 $30 discount. Anyone know if I can go back and use my same YES card or do they actually block it after two?
to answer my own question yes they block you after two. Luckily at the second location, the CS person just did a manual override but you’ll have to make new accounts each time you want to do this.
Still confused on if it is safe to use an Amex Plat to get the bonus (6 month new account gas and grocery) 10X on these?
Just as a clarification for you it’s always a crap shoot. Technically those gift cards are not eligible. Some grocery stores share level 3 data which is itemized transactions for your seat with Amex. However that doesn’t mean you won’t get the bonus. My grocery store shares level 3 data I just bought $100 gift card because I had a ton of extra points. It took forever to post the bonus points 6 days later I just got the 9X points.
