The Offer
- Signup for e-statements on your BBVA Compass credit card and receive 750 free points, or $7.50.
- Take a short survey and receive 100 points, or $1.
In order to do these deals, you need to login to your Compass account using this link (the other login won’t show these offers).
- The system will shoot out the 100 points survey when using that above link. It takes around 30 seconds to do the survey.
- Then go to ‘My Profile’ at the top-left of the page (again, only using this special link), and the system will give you the option of opting in for paperless statements, with a bonus 750 points for doing so.
The Fine Print
There is a little too much fine print about household accounts and checking accounts with regards to the 750 points for e-statements, but as far as I can tell you should actually end up with the 750 for enrolling even if you just have a Compass credit card and no other Compass accounts.
Our Verdict
The 100 points will post right away and is probably worth it by itself since it takes around a minute. The other 750 points should post eventually, but doesn’t come immediately. Let’s hope we see those points soon!
Remember that they extended the no-annual-fee-for-life offer of this card and it’s a card well worth considering.
Thanks again to Oren for making us aware of this deal.
signed up a few months ago and i still don’t see my points… anyone else have any luck?
No for me. I called in and they offered some excuse about the offer only being applicable for some other type of card. Don’t remember the details exactly.
I was told that it was only on the BBVA Visa. I don’t think that’s correct but I decided not to fight them on it since they gave me my points on the 5% purchases. Let me know if they do credit you though.
Did anyone receive the 750 points? Last time I checked a few days ago I still hadn’t.
I tried contacting them. They got back to me claiming that the offer was only for Visa cards, not Amex.
They recently told me the same thing. Did you drop it after that? I know I did a print screen at the time but I can’t find it.
How to redeem $7.50?
What is “Wallet Redemption”?
Does anyone know how to get Amex offers added to this card? Can they only be added though Twitter, or is there a way to link this to your American Express account so you can add offers on there? Also, is this card good to use with the Amex $10 checkout promo? I’ve had terrible time finding a customer service rep that can help me out. I want to take advantage of the $8.50, but I keep getting an account number is invalid message when signing up.
Thanks everyone for your help. I’m new to all of this.
Only Twitter. No, it won’t work for Amex Checkout promo.
Thanks for your help!
Has anyone been able to get a CSR to add the points from the 17th and 18th manually?
I still hadn’t gotten mine, last I checked.
Thanks for the tip!
BBVA has been strangely generous with points. I got the 5,000 points for the Fast Break promo despite not hitting $250 in grocery/gas spend and I’ve gotten almost a thousand 3x points for “NBA purchases” despite never making a NBA purchase. No complaints of course.
sent them an email that the 750 points did not post and they added it right away…not sure if it would have posted anyway.
Didn’t get the 100 point offer either. Got the 750 pts though.
I’m not able to login, so I tried to register. But it asked for 16 digit of credit card number. And the NBA card is AE card only have 15 digits… Any suggestion? thanks

Works like a charm! Thank you 🙂
Pretty useless. When I open the link no survey comes up and the first thing I do when signing up for a new financial product is enrolling in paperless anyway so I won’t get the bonus here.
Turn off paperless, and turn it back on again with this link. Hopefully it’ll work.
(This trick worked with Chase a few months ago.)
You might want to reconsider then. I’ve been offered points/cash for switching to paperless quite a few times in the past. Hell, Barclays Sallie Mae gave me $25 just to switch earlier this year.
