GrubHub is testing a deal pass, select users are being offered the pass which costs $10 and entitles you to $6 off your next 5 orders. The pass is good for 30 days and there is no minimum spend requirement. You basically just need to use the discount twice to come out ahead. Recently we’ve seen other delivery services offer big discounts (e.g up to 50% off UberEats) so I guess this is one way GrubHub aims to compete with that.

The real question is, does getting this pass trigger the Amex Gold’s $10 monthly GrubHub credit? Cause that would be a great way to get more than $10 of value out of the credit.
Yes. I got that a few months ago. Got my $10 AX credit and used it 5 times. I always use for takeout so save delivery fee. Awesome deal.

Yes, they’ve had it for years.
That is probably only for Grubhub drivers though. Grubhub just passes the orders to restaurants if they offer their own delivery service.
