Our Verdict
The $10 discount more-than-covers the activation fee, so this is an easy way or racking up grocery store spend. Hy-Vee stores carry $500 Visa gift cards (they do have limits on how much you can buy in a single transactions, e.g. $500, $999, etc, depending on the store).
Should be possible to buy $500 or $100 Visa gift cards, one per transaction, and get the $10 instant discount on each purchase – if the cashier allows. Reader Jeff says you also get fuel points on the purchase.
