Our Verdict
Sounds like you can do multiple transactions of $100 and get $10 for each. Pretty nice deal as a grocery store gift card is almost as good as cash. I wonder if you can roll the $10 Hy-Vee gift card from one purchase into the next gift card purchase. I’d guess you can buy Amazon, Best Buy, Starbucks, iTunes, etc. gift cards at Hy-Vee.
You should earn fuel points on the gift card purchase too, I think. There’s even a fuel points special showing (third to last page) for Happy gift card purchases.

Poor marketing decision on the GCs in the image, some of those chains have almost no locations within hours of Hy-Vee locations.
These are a pain to get multiple – very YMMY. Some stores require manager credentials to approve, some are cash/debit only.
Hyvee even had this little quirk where they don’t approve 2 transactions in a row for the same amount. Thankfully my young cashier knew a trick to shave a penny off and it went through.
