Hyatt has sent out an e-mail to loyalty members informing them that they are making two changes to their award chart effective immediately. They most recently made 8 changes back in December. The two new changes are as follows:
- Hyatt Place Knoxville/ Downtown – currently a category 1 and moving to a category 2
- Hyatt House Washington DC / The Wharf – currently a category 2 and moving to a category 3
These changes are relatively minor and you’ll still be able to use the free night certificate from the Chase Hyatt card on both properties. The worrying thing is that Hyatt made these changes without any prior notice, usually you’re given a small window to book under the old rates and this wasn’t the case.
