Update 7/28/21: These offers are due to end today but will still be available via referral until August 25. Keep in mind there are better offers for the Gold card (due to also expire today, not sure if they will be extended).

Our Verdict
Similar to the recent increased offers, the personal offers all have an additional $200 credit and business offers have an extra 5,000 miles. Last time we saw increased offers when doing a dummy booking, not sure if that will be the case this time or not but might be worth waiting a day or two to ensure that isn’t the case. These are all solid offers and we will be adding these to our best credit card bonuses. Just make sure to use the Delta miles ASAP as offers will continue to increase over time as Delta continues to devalue the program.
On every browser except firefox I get the delta gold business card offer. 70000 miles + 200 statement credit + annual fee waived first year.
On firefox, I see the same offer but for the delta gold regular card. I applied. Denied again. Application was done 60 days after initial denial. Already spoke to reconsideration line:
Too many new accounts. I am 4/24.
Experian: 8 inquiries (4 of which are credit cards I own, 2 from AMEX checking my credit, 2 from mortgage lenders)
Equifax: 3 inquiries (all cards)
TransUnion (0 inquiries on file)
Credit score: 780. Income: 100K
I don’t understand the logic from these credit card companies and banks. I’ve seen DPs of people being above 5/24 getting approved. How can you approve someone who is, for example, LOL/24, but someone below 5/24 has too many new accounts?
Some new offers on the business cards today, and the personal reserve adjusted it’s points down. The business cards are 70k +50 sttmt credit for the gold, 90k +10kMQM +100 sttmt credit for the plat, 80k + 20k MQM +200 sttmt credit for the reserve. They are available by referral and incognito mode.
This offer is still going. I got 90000 miles + $200 SC offer about a week ago. I was flying Delta next morning and wanted to check in online on delta website. Signed into my Delta account from the hotel room (unusual location) and this Platinum card offer popped up onto me 🙂 I applied right away hoping to get instant card number to make in-flight purchase during my incoming flight but my application went into review. But I got approval email next morning when I was on the plane already:) amazing! But no instant #. That’s my story with this offer. The flight was US domestic. Skymiles member many years, several Amex card holder. Was trying to get Delta Gold with 70000 miles offer earlier this year but always was getting “not eligible for bonus” message. So being not home, unusual location, hotel wi fi, flying Delta, helped.
Is it still possible to get the gold business offer with a referral? I’ve tried a couple referral links from churning, but those weren’t working.
Does anyone know if cancelling your Amex card after acquiring the 70K miles and statement credit revokes the miles and/or credit? Like do you have to wait a year before canceling so they can charge you the $100 annual fee?
I opened the Delta Gold in late June. I have a few weeks left to get the $200 statement credit but was wondering if my purchase with Delta has to be $200+ as well or any amount? That part isn’t very clear to me.
Thanks in advance.
Anybody is interested in considering taking the mileage bonus from the referral and share the $200 delta cash back with the referee? shoot an email to bjend33 at google mail dot come!
Got 70k + $400 after delta purchase only after vpn to japan and chome incognito. 90k + $200 without incognito. I’m still in pop up hell. I’ve tried this offer over the past month no luck. GGS
PS. there’s an one way SFO to LAX flight mid august for $39 or something like that. Should be a nice throw away booking if anyone doesn’t want to risk buying delta GC
did you bypass the popup with vpn? I have been in popup jail this whole year
No vpn is just to pull up the offer
My girlfriend got the pop when applying through amex but when she applied via delta dummy booking it approved her
Won’t a refundable ticket booking work just as well to get the offer?
How strict is Amex regarding their 2 credit cards every 90 days rule?
They are strict. But if you are let’s say 62 days after previous card, you can apply, get denied, and call reconsideration in 29 days.
VL thanks & good to know, though doesn’t help for here as the best I’m getting is 50k miles + $50 credit after $2k spend (public) or 75k miles + $200 credit after $4k spend (referral).
Note: Amex terms say gift cards don’t qualify – unless I am reading this wrong. (Anyone know if renting a car through the Delta site would qualify?)
From $200 credit terms for Platinum Personal: ‘Purchases to meet the spend requirement do NOT include fees or interest charges, cash advances, purchases of travelers checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, purchases of gift cards; person-to-person payments, or purchases of other cash equivalents. Delta Gift Cards and purchases made at deltashop.com and/or the Delta Flight Museum do not qualify.’
A few people say to buy gift cards if you don’t have a flight planned. Does anyone have any DPs on whether this works, despite the terms?
$50 Gc worked for me
if it’s under delta.com it should work. i asked a rep and they said it excludes gift cards or delta store shop.
