The Fine Print
- Fares must be purchased using TrueBlue points by 4/25/19 (the earlier of 11:59 PM EST or local) for flights Monday-Thursday between 4/29/19-5/21/19 and 5/29/19-6/20/19 (not available on 5/22-5/28/19).
- Fares will automatically include a 15% discount on the base fare point requirement for Award Flight redemption.
Our Verdict
Cost of award tickets is tied to the ticket price. Excluding Friday-Sunday travel makes this very limiting for most people. You also might be better off waiting for a good JetBlue sale that will reduce the cash price and also the award price.
Wow, got lucky! Booked a Jetblue flight last night for $109 via Chase Portal, so ~7,300 points. Within 24 hours so canceled and rebooked it using JetBlue points for 6,100. Roughly an ~$18 savings, but more of a win for me as I had 2,500 orphaned JetBlue points in my account so I only had to transfer in 4k. Thanks, DoC!
