Johnson & Johnson Class Lawsuit

Direct Link

A proposed nationwide settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit involving certain Johnson & Johnson Bedtime Bath Products (the “Covered Products”). You may be a class member in the proposed settlement and may be entitled to participate in the proposed settlement.

Johnson & Johnson denies it did anything wrong and has defended itself throughout the lawsuit. The Court has not decided who is right. Both sides have agreed to settle the dispute to avoid burdensome and costly litigation.

Who is Eligible?

You may be a class member in the proposed settlement if you purchased any of the Covered Products between July 1, 2010 – August 31, 2016 sold in USA, DC, or any U.S. territory.

Covered Products include:

  • products that were labeled, marketed and/or advertised as “clinically proven [to] help baby sleep better”
  • Products to be used AS part of a “bedtime” or “nighttime” routine,

Examples of Johnson’s brand products included: Bedtime Baby Bath, Bedtime Baby Lotion, Bedtime Baby Moisture Wash, Bedtime Washcloths, Bedtime Baby Bubble Bath & Wash.

Submit a claim form here to take part in the lawsuit.

Covered Products does not include the revised Bedtime Product labels that state on the front “clinically proven routine helps baby fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.”

How Much Can We Get?

You may be eligible to obtain:

  • $3 for each product, up to five products, without Proof of Purchase; $15 total
  • $3 for each product, up to ten products with Proof of Purchase; $30 total

Final Thoughts

Finding receipts isn’t fun, but might be worth it for the $30 settlement. You can get up to $15 for five products without having to dig up the receipts.
