Our Verdict

I have a Kindle Paperwhite and love it. If you’re thinking about getting a regular Kindle then I’d suggest paying the extra money for the back light, I think it’s worth it. I’m trying to justify making an Oasis purchase because I’d love to have a waterproof kindle (reading in a pool on vacation), if those were on sale I probably would have bought one even though I really don’t need it. Some of the daily give aways look good as well, things like IT, big little lies, little fires everywhere & Astrophysics for People in a Hurry. I’ll also happily take the $5 off as well.

If you’re going to purchase anything, remember to stack discounts on Amazon. Today is also the last day for 20% off when you use a single Membership Rewards point.

Hey, I won one of their giveaways. Unfortunately it was a Kindle book download I’m not interested in, lol. But I won!!!!!! haha

I think I’ll pick up “Lincoln in the Bardo” on hardcover (one of the Kindle giveaway books I didn’t win). I’ve heard good things about that book.

Trying to decide if it is worth it to trade in my first gen Paperwhite to get a new one for $89. Bonus $20 plus $35 trade in value puts it at upgrade cost of $34. I read every night for an hour before bed so being without it for the trade in evaluation period doesn’t sound great.

I also am ineligible for the $5 Kindle Credit. I do not have Kindle Unlimited. Great for those that get it!

It said I was not eligible for the kindle $5 credit. Not sure if it’s because I’m already a kindle unlimited subscriber? Love me some KU I probably read 15-20 books a month. Better than TV. Thanks for sharing.
