Anyone know if cashback portals pay out when paying with a “happy giftcard?” Since usually giftcard payments are excluded from earning CB.

yes since happy is a gift card which is a credit card but happy does not accept merchant orders online for some vendors. I purchase happy eats which supports panera but when I order online my happy card does not work. I need to go in person

No, they don’t process their own orders. Instead, it’s filled by Black Hawk Network/ GCM so it won’t code as Grocery. Giant Eagle, on the other hand, processes their own orders so they’ll code as Grocery if you buy GCs online from them.

I wish I read this before I just purchased. Much less of a deal than I expected. The Fuel Rewards aren’t that valuable since the gas prices are always much higher than Sam’s & Costco.
