- Save a digital coupon to get 4x fuel points on Visa and Mastercard $100, $50, or $25 fixed-value gift cards. (Does not work on variable-load Visa/MC gift cards.)
- Save a digital coupon to get 4x fuel points on third party gift cards.
Typically, gift cards earn 2x, and occasionally they’ll put out offers like these to bump it up to 4x. You should see these coupons for all Kroger-family brands. Deal usually becomes available at Harris Teeter as well in roughly the same time period.

Our Verdict
This is a nice, long time period with 4x rewards. I expect we’ll see similar promos at other grocery chains for the holidays. Remember to use a card that earns at a high rate on grocery store purchases.

Wanted to add a DP to the Kroger pickup gift card option. Kroger charges 10cents for the card, then refunds it at pickup. You then take the cards home and load the amount you want. Activate at the link below.

4x coupon does work for this, enter your loyalty # during load.
Load amount charges separately from your grocery order and codes as CS*Cashstar Gift Card. So very likely no grocery bonus.
FWIW, I bought two $500 GCs at a Pick N Save (Kroger) this morning, and earned 6x FP on my purchases (6,000 total rather than the expected 4,000). I’m assuming this is a glitch of sorts–perhaps I’m being credited the normal 2x and a bonus 4x on top? Anyone else seeing this?
our Smiths stopped giving fuel pts on visa/mc variable loads about 7 years ago. This would be amazing.
