• BankPlus is offering a $250 bonus when you open a new personal checking account and complete the following requirements in the first complete statement cycle:
  • Receive one direct deposit of $500 or more (must be posted and cleared)
  • Make five debit card purchases using the debit card tied to your new account (posted and cleared)
  • Have enrolled in BankPlus Online Banking

The Fine Print

• During the first complete statement cycle following the month the account is opened, you must:
  • Have at least one direct deposit of $500 or more posted and cleared to the new account
  • Complete 5 debit card purchases using the debit card associated with the new account, posted and cleared
  • Have Enrolled in BankPlus Online Banking

   

• Direct deposits do not include internal transfers, transfers from an individual using online banking, or an internet payment provider (e.g., PayPal). Deposits made with a teller or ATM are not considered direct deposits. 
• Bonuses will be credited to eligible accounts by January 31, 2026. Accounts must remain open to receive the bonus. The bonus is considered interest and will be reported to the IRS on Form 1099-MISC. Offer available only to those who are Mississippi residents. Limit one bonus per individual for this promotion. Employees of BankPlus are not eligible.
• All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them
