- Fortifi Bank is offering a $150 bonus when you open a new Checking Plus Cash, Checking Plus Interest, and Loyalty Plus Checking. Says requirements must be met, I assume the requirements are what is required to earn 5% cash back or 4.07% APY? Those are:
- 18 debit card purchases post and clear / Direct Deposit, ACH Credit, or Auto ACH payment post and clear / Receive an eStatement
The Fine Print
- New Client $150 Checking Bonus: Limit one new account per household.
- Offer applies to Checking Plus Cash, Checking Plus Interest, and Loyalty Plus Checking.
- To qualify, the account holder must not have had an open Fortifi Bank personal checking account within the past 120 days.
- A $150 bonus will be deposited into the new checking account within 10 days after the end of the second full statement cycle if all qualifications are met during at least one full monthly statement cycle.
- Offer effective 1/15/2026 – 2/28/2026
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them
