Went in around 6pm and went to customer service. They had a list they had to cross my name off of and then they gave me the light. Came with batteries too. Pretty nice!!

Was that within the time frame they gave you via the email they sent? My times specified between 7-9am or 5-7pm but when I went in at 8am, was told the times were wrong in the email and I’d have to come back between 10-1 and sit through a lecture before getting the “free” gift.

I wasn’t available at those times so didn’t get headlamp.

I only realized that there was a 7am time frame for pickup when I went to the customer service. It looked like I had to attend a seminar but they just gave it to me and crossed off my name. Took about 20 seconds.

Lucky you. Not that it will do any good but I sent an email to their corporate office to complain, the way it happened to you should have been how it happened to me, not my fault they screwed up on the times.

UPDATE:

Got a response back from Lowe’s corporate and the local store manager that I can come in and get the free headlamp so looks like my email to them worked. I’m surprised but pleased.

My email also said 7a-9a or 5p-7p.

Went in about 7:30am.

One woman in front of me with other business, was joking with her and the CS person. Showed him the “ticket” for the headlamp and he said something like oh, you got 3 tickets there, here – hands me 3 of them. “ya sure?” “Yeah, your funny dude, give em to someone who can use them, just don’t let me see them on eBay this afternoon.”

Whatever, I didn’t have time for a seminar or ability to come back later so happy I didn’t run into any of that.

I forgot to change the default selected store and now i don’t have option to change it. Selected store is in different state.

Same here and it doesn’t allow me to change. I ended up just creating another account and selecting the correct store.

I don’t see in the email offer: 1) Is this offer supposed to be for first responders? 2) Do you just pick it up? It looked like there’s some sort of workshop associated with it.
