Our Verdict

This offer is being sent out to some via email, but has a public link so anyone should be able to do it. Standard offer on the card is 75k/$3k. This isn’t the first time they’ve offered 100,000, but it is the recent high on the card. We have seen this available via referral in the past, so might be worth waiting to see if it becomes available there to help a friend gain on the deal.

Keep in mind, many of us won’t be eligible for the bonus due to lifetime rules, see the post New Chase/American Express SPG/Marriott Rules Are Now In Place for more details.

Last month, I received an offer from Amex for the Bonvoy Business card. 100k points plus a $100 statement credit for $5k spend in the first three months. The offer expiration date is 12/31/19. The offer has no lifetime language. I had the SPG Business card previously and closed over a year ago. I applied using the offer link and was immediately approved.

I’ve never had a SPG Business card, but have both the personal SPG & Luxury cards(whatever they’re called now)–was approved for this card with no pop-up warning–almost hit the MSR-I’ll update if I receive the bonus or not once get there.

I had Chase Marriott Business with points two years ago. Can I apply for it to get the points?

Applied for Bonvoy Business, (No pop up sign up bonus denial window). Instant approval. Recieved SPG Business 35K sign up bonus 2 years ago and closed card 6 months ago.

Will i still receive the bonus?

Im confirming that I received today the 100K Bonvoy sign up bonus points!

Since then I also tried the Amex Gold 50K And Hilton incognito 150K but the sign up bonus denial window showed up so I went for the regular Hilton 125K (had it before) no pop up window and approved. So fingers crossed it will work like the Marriott.

No, you can’t. It’s based on social security number.

Read through DOC eligibility but it does not outline the Amex Bonvoy cards eligibility.
Does Amex SPG Biz card make lifetime ineligible?

I went the Incognito route and was instantly approved.

However in the past several months, whenever I attempt to apply for an AmEx card, I get the “you are not eligible for the welcome offer” pop up box when applying for cards (not in igcognito). Including an attempt yesterday.

Does the incognito effectively bypass the pop up? Should I be concerned about receiving the welcome bonus?

When did you last have the SPG Biz card? Did you receive an e-mail invite for this card? In other words, were you targeted for the app?
