Incorrect. Fast food chains like Sonic and Papa John’s have been doing this since 2014 or earlier.
CFA certainly didn’t originate the concept and is itself guilty of “stealing that promo idea” from whoever did.
McD has been running sports-based promos for several years now. For your area, that would be the NY teams and Rutgers.
