Our Verdict
To be honest when I first started writing this post I didn’t notice the $1 minimum purchase requirement. Deal is significantly worse with that requirement and probably only worth considering if you were going to McDonald’s already.
What about Chicken Drop today?
Risking life during snow storm for not-free small fries?
McDonald’s, you can do it better!!
If YOU were smart, you would live somewhere that doesn’t get snow. LOL
I used to eat McDonalds regularly. But once I purged it out of my system like a drug, it’s just utterly disgusting now.
This is what happens when you indulge to excess. After a certain point, you can’t really blame the food for your addiction.
Also, McDonald’s is only disgusting if you eat the disgusting stuff.
I’m willing to bet that you’ve never ordered a salad or tried the yogurt parfait.
It wasn’t an addiction. It was convenient and as a young dumb single kid in the military, it was much easier to hit up Micky D’s with the fellas.
The Yogurt parfait isn’t bad. Their salads are ok as well. But I prefer them on the side of something with some calories. Also this deal wasn’t for any of that. You get what you pay for. Shitty food at a bargain price.
agreed. i pretty much stopped eating fast food at 13. trying mcdonalds or KFC now tastes absolutely disgusting
I’ve gone years not eating fast food and vice versa to extreme. I’ve settled on couple times a month is fine when you need to eat something quick. Their breakfast is also pretty good. Can’t hate on that too much.
I’m thinking Will is being silly about the $1 minimum purchase making it a bad deal. Haha. I almost never get fast food so I might stop today with that kind of pricing. I fell and can’t walk so cooking has turned into a real pain. Tho I do wish it was 25 cents for the chicken sandwich instead of cheeseburger.
you should be already going to McD, people are making a killing on eBay selling those Happy Meal Pokemon cards…
Very churnable, but only while supplies last!
Because $1 fries through the App deal is not cheap enough!
Instead of doing all these marketing gimmicks please just bring back the good old dollar menu…
Yes. McDouble with Big Mac Sauce = Big Mac without the middle bun and plants.
my go-to weekend meal when I was an intern lol.
The Franchisee group voted this down big time years ago, IIRC because they “lost money”.
I love junk food and I love free/cheap stuff. However, junk food really needs to be more expensive to curb some of the biggest problems facing our society…
But cooking good whole foods means I’ll miss the bachelor .
Yes, let’s artificially raise prices of things to save people from the natural consequences of their acts. Screw all the people who are able to live a balanced and reasonably fit lifestyle who might otherwise get to enjoy a burger at fair market price every now and then. They should have to pay more to save the stupid.
Food is actually artificially cheaper due to government subsidies on agriculture. Ending those subsidies would save tax payers money and bring the food to their natural cost level, which would be more than they currently are. That might naturally incentivize people to eat healthier
you can’t fix stupid. they will just put it on their credit card, regardless what the price is. and when the card is maxed, they will claim they are starving (with a BMI of 40), when there is a grocery store a block way.
Sad that they are even thinking 15 cents for fries is a deal considering they usually offer $1 for medium or large with no min. They need to rollback their prices… can’t believe how expensive they are
I’d like to see throwback pricing on salads and yogurt. Oh, wait…
