Our Verdict
Meijer sells $200 Visa gift cards, so this is a profitable deal especially when you use a card that earns at a high rate on grocery store purchases. (Just keep in mind, not all Meijer code as grocery correctly.) Limit of one is obviously annoying.Some Meijer stores also sell $500 variable load cards, and this coupon works on those as well.

Has anyone been able to get Chase Pay to work at Meijer?
You can link with Samsung Pay and use at Meijer but chase pay itself is not accepted at meijer.

What do you mean that they won’t let you buy money order?
Apparently there was a memo from corporate stating mo’s cannot be purchased with gift cards and the cashiers are suppose to verify this by demanding to look at your pin based debit card (which I think might be illegal). It all depends on the cashier and if they got the memo or not.
How long ago was this?
I heard two customer service employees discussing it a few weeks ago. But I think it’s been ongoing for at least a couple of years as I have been denied by a few select employees who choose to enforce this. It’s best to look for new fresh faces behind the counter when using gift cards for money orders.

Did anyone else’s Meijer lower the limit on gc purchases. My store used to be $1500-$2000 in x minutes, now register locks up over $1000 in x minutes

The highest gift card amount is $500, how do you buy more? Separate transaction? How do they know how many you bought?
You grab 2 (or more) $500 vgcs and scan them. The bonus will only take $10 off for this promo but there are reasons to buy a vgc even when its not $10 off.
