New Priority Pass Lounge For IAD (Sleepbox)

Priority Pass has added a new lounge to Washington DC Dulles Intl (IAD), the new lounge is Sleepbox and is open 24 hours. Priority Pass members get access for one hour complimentary and then costs $24 per hour from there. Honestly these sleepboxes look 100x times nicer than the crappy minute suites offered at other airports.

How am I going to relax for only one hour! And I’d be too worried I was going to oversleep +3 hours and be charged $75 bucks?? No way.

Can two people “sleep” in the same box? If this box is a rockin’ then don’t come a knockin’ unless the hour is up and you need another priority pass shown.

As with the minute suites this seems like a business that was started solely to collect revenue from priority pass customers. No food costs as with a lounge, and a steady stream of people who will use it because, why not? Will probably be more profitable than most restaurants at airports.

It sucks that it’s only for one person, but it is better than not having anything at all.

PP does have quite a few “real” lounges in IAD though?

But one hour?

That’s like amex giving$10 credit to a restaurant every month.

Useless
