[DEAD] No-Fee Capital One SavorOne with $500 Signup Bonus on $3,000 Spend [Up from $150, Won’t Last]

The Capital One SavorOne card just increased the signup bonus from $150 to $500. Spend requirement is $3,000 (previously $500).

Direct Link to offer | Better Link to Try

I’m not sure what’s going on here; DDG reported on this offer earlier today, then it died, presumably they pulled as it wasn’t supposed to be there (glitch), but now they put it back. Who knows, maybe they want a temporary spike in these cards. Either way, it won’t last so jump on this now if it interests you.

This is separate from the Capital One Savor card with a $95 annual fee (waived first year) which also shows a $500 bonus currently.

Readers note that in the T&C it still showing $150. Not worth applying as it likely will track as only $150.

Hat tip to reader Hari and Alexey

Denied for $500 offer. Too many recent accounts did not say which CRB they used on the count. 6/24.

I really want to apply for this since I still see $500. I’ve been wanting to grab the Savor but this is an even better deal. Does anyone have any guesses if they’d honor the $500 with screenshots? I’m curious how many people applied after noticing the discrepancy in the terms, or did everyone back out?

They should honor that if you can prove it, will call them later since I applied and approved and then noticed the discrepancy

$150 on $500 spent isn’t bad too, effectively 30% and I have lots of spare X/24. Will spent $500, wait for a while for a $150 bonus and if it post I will raise this issue with CFPB in order to get $500. win-win in any situation

$500 for $500 spend wasn’t ever an offer. You would lose that CFPB. You better spend the $3k if you even want a chance at a CFPB complaint. Better yet — try to work it out with Cap1 first. That’s what I’m doing.

I plan to contact CFPB only if bonus of $150 posts which means Capital One do not honor the ad. You have a point, I will try to work this out with Capital One first.

See $500 with no annual fee, applied and approved, screenshots saved, just in case for future use if they lower it to $150. Thanks 🙂

The new “Better Link” worked for me. I applied and was instantly denied. Spouse applied and instantly approved. Thank you DOC!!

A co-worker suggested maybe we can call and ask if we can change to the Savor card with the $95 AF and get the $500 bonus. I will try that.

Called Capital one tonight. Agent refused to honor the $500 offer AND refused to change it to the Savor card with the $95 fee for $500 bonus, said they could only offer $300. Asked to speak to a supervisor and the agent told us this was the only offer available. Told the agent to just close the card. No retention attempt at all, they couldn’t care less.

I called today and the rep put in a ticket to get it escalated to the rewards department. She told me a supervisor would be contacting within 5 business days (she was very nice and helpful). If push comes to shove, I’ll just take the $300 if that’s what they offer. It’s better than a wasted ping to all 3 reports…

Long story, but got the letter in the mail saying they would honor the $500 offer, went through a huge hassle but got card reinstated, got the $150 bonus right away, and Sept 15th finally got extra $350 bonus. I screwed up when I got mad at the rude agent and closed the card. I had to fight for it but finally got it! It has been quite a learning experience.

Applied and approved for the card. The welcome email states SUB is $150 with MSR of $500. What can I do? I took screenshots of the offer before applying.

Clarify: The screenshot includes the $500 SUB, but the disclosure says $150 SUB.

don’t think it’s gonna work this time.. the terms are the legal terms.. so my guess is what the terms say will be final.

Able to see the $500 offer with the second “better link” and incognito mode. Not approved, though. 6/24 with most recent one earlier this month.

Be aware that the disclosures still show $150 bonus even if you can see the $500 bonus in the web page.
