The Offer
- One Nevada Credit Union is offering a $100 referral bonus to both parties when the person signing up completes the following requirements:
- One Nevada Credit Union checking account with direct deposit
- make the minimum opening deposit
- remain a Member in good standing for at least 60 days for each of you to receive reward
The Fine Print
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them
Avoiding Fees
Monthly Fees
No monthly service fee with 15 signature-based, debit card transactions monthly, or a $2,000 average daily checking account balance, otherwise $5 per month.
Early Account Termination Fee
Unsure if there is any EATF.
Our Verdict
Seems like an OK bonus, especially if you can refer a few friends and family. Unfortunately we have no idea what will work as a workaround for the direct deposit requirement.

It looks like the link goes is for someone that already has a OneNevada account to refer others. If a new customer enters the email address, it is supposed to be for the email that is on file with OneNevada so looks like there is no signup link for new customers.
You are right that the link posted here is for generating your referral link if you already have an account. If you would like to get the bonus for signing up from a referral link, yes, you need to use somebody’s referral link to register and then sign up. If you do not have a referral link to use and you just want to sign up for a new account to be able to refer family and friends later for the referral bonus, you can just go to the credit union’s website to do it.
